Outer material seems pretty quiet compared to other hunting jackets I have had. Not as quiet as a polyester fleece, of course. I have seen "Blaze" products from other sources that were orange, but not as bright as I like. This blaze is bright. The elastic cuffs seem streathed out, and too big even for very large wrists, but that's not a big deal for me. I bought a 4XL. The product page states ""4X (for a 60" chested guy) has 70" Chest"". I have about a 60" chest and it fits just right, not too tight at all, as long as I don't want to wear much under it. But I would disregard the second measurement ""70 inches"". I am not sure what the description is getting at, but I would recommend just stick with the first measurement listed ( "60 inches" in my case ) when choosing a size All in all, I like it.
